I'm a full-time collegiate associate professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) DBA program.  I teach several capstone courses as well as advise DBA dissertations. Mentoring students through research and dissertations is what I enjoy most about teaching. I've been fortunate enough to have been able to design innovative doctoral courses that enable our students to be very successful scholar-practitioners. 

 

As a Scholar-Practitioner myself, I have 30 years of engineering and technical management experience as a senior systems engineer and executive at the Naval Air Systems Command where I've contributed my engineering expertise to numerous naval aviation acquisition programs. In my most recent role, I developed a corporate university and managed data analytics activities.  I have diverse academic research interests which include innovation, inspirational leadership, workplace happiness, organizational learning and culture.
